How long does a house extension usually take to build?
Our modular extensions take around 2-3 weeks to complete. We will give you a timeframe once your order has been confirmed.

Do I need planning permission to build an extension or freestanding building?
An extension may be built for a semi-detached or town house up to 3 metres and the same width of the existing dwelling without planning permission. For a detached house the extension can be up to 4 metres and the same width of the dwelling.
Freestanding buildings such as garden rooms don’t usually require planning permissions as they are classed as outbuildings. As long as they comply with certain rules, building a freestanding building will fit the criteria.
Do modular buildings comply with building regulations and building control?
Yes, they are structurally compliant and meet all the current building regulations, especially due to their excellent “U” value properties.
Please note that it is your responsibility to check whether you have complied with planning permissions.
